Cleaning activities around business sites

Cleaning activities in areas around Haseko Techno’s Amagasaki Machinery Center

We carry out cleaning activities as one of our ways of contributing to the local community, which is the responsibility of a company engaged in activities in the region. On December 26, 2018, three employees of Haseko Techno and four members of our business partners cleaned the streets and their gutters around Haseko Techno’s Amagasaki Machinery Center, in succession to the previous cleaning performed in 2017.

Cleaning activities at "minato AQULS" around the worksite in Komei, Minato Ward, Nagoya City

Our worksite in Komei, Minato Ward, Nagoya City is constructing part of "minato AQULS," which is due to be developed along Nakagawa Canal. Cleaning is performed at Kohoku Park and in the vicinity of the Canal multiple times a year by the parties involved in "minato AQULS." Two persons from the worksite participated in the cleaning activities conducted on December 7, 2018, in succession to the previous cleaning performed in September 2018.

Cleaning activities at park adjacent to worksite of Hama Koshien Phase I 2BL-a Plan

Haseko Corporation performed cleaning activities in the park adjacent to the "worksite of Hama Koshien Phase I 2BL-a Plan (tentative name)" on August 3, 2018, which doubled as activities to contribute to the local community. The cleaning task was performed by a total of approx. 20 people consisting of Haseko Corporation’s employees, our business partners’ employees and construction workers at the worksite. At the worksite, we will put efforts into conducting such activities again in the future, as they contribute to the local community and also help preserve biodiversity.

Participation in G20 Osaka Summit 'Cleanup' Mission

We participated in the "G20 Osaka Summit 'Cleanup' Mission" hosted by the Osaka City Government. In the lead up to the G20 Osaka Summit in 2019, the first G20 Summit held in Japan, a total of 584 Haseko Group employees participated in cleaning activities around business sites for two days, on May 30 and June 6, 2019, to welcome the representatives of foreign countries with clean streets.

Participation in Shiba District Clean Campaign

We have been participating in the "Shiba District Clean Campaign: A Town with Zero Smoking on the Street!" hosted by Minato Ward, Tokyo since 2009. In fiscal 2018, the Campaign was held three times, in which a total of 109 Haseko Group employees participated to clean the areas around Shiba Head Office Building and call out to pedestrians to stop smoking while walking.

Participation in Osaka Marathon 'Cleanup' Mission

We have been participating in the "Osaka Marathon 'Cleanup' Mission" hosted by the Osaka City Government since 2006. In fiscal 2018, a total of 480 Haseko Group employees took part in cleaning activities around business sites for two days, on November 20 and 21, 2018, in the lead up to "Osaka Marathon 2018" held on November 25, so that runners participating from all over Japan could run through clean streets.
